Jessi is an incredible hairstylist! The commute from Portland is absolutely worth it because of her expertise. She is amazing at cutting my curls perfectly and often comes up with cute and creative ideas to tweak my pixie cut. The great conversation is always an added plus.
Every time I go here I feel so welcomed and I appreciate the care that all of the stylists bring to every appointment. I had some inspiration photos and my stylist, Jenn, made it happen. We talked about after care and how to style my new hair and even some tips for how to deal with dry/irritated scalp. The cut is worth the visit.
I had a great experience. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and I got exactly what I wanted. Its the first time I've gotten my hair cut in a long time and I will be coming back here again. Jayla did my hair and she was really wonderful. I appreciate her squeezing me in and giving me exactly what I asked for.
I always get my haircut here even though I live closer to a hundred other shops in Portland. My stylist is Keren and not only does she listen and care about each clients request, she's also just a genuine delightful person. The team at Formation is always so welcoming and accommodating. Not to mention their location is next to a large food cart pod so you can grab a bite to eat nearby after they get your hair looking perfect as usual!

11/10 service - we are so lucky to have this salon in Beaverton! Jessi gave me a fantastic cut (and was able to fit my cut into the time block even though i booked the wrong cut length!). I was going from long to short, and she gave me a truly custom razor cut that looks freakin' adorable and is so gender-affirming for me! She listened to what i wanted, studied the photos i brought, and offered her perspective before she got to work. I didn't feel rushed. As a non-binary ace, i felt extremely comfortable here. I parked in the large lot 20 feet away from the salon, which was super convenient. Normally I'd drive into Portland for a cut like this, but I've definitely found my new spot. Will 100% be returning over and over. Looking forward to trying a drink next time (i skipped it this time since i was almost late!). Thank you so much, Formation!!
Jenn did so well with my hair!! I got the scalp treatment and a long haircut. It was amazing! I walked out feeling so confident with my hair and it was exactly what I wanted.
